SUG-ATBU Partners with Xora Eco Limited to Advance Youth Empowerment in Renewable Energy
The Students’ Union Government (SUG), Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has reached a strategic partnership agreement with Xora Eco Limited to advance youth empowerment in the renewable energy sector.
The agreement followed an engagement with Xora Eco Limited’s leadership led by its Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Adaeze Osakwe.

The meeting centered on collaboration for the upcoming Youth Renewable Energy Training and Conference. The initiative aims to equip young people with practical knowledge and opportunities in renewable energy, innovation, and sustainable development.
The SUG reaffirmed its commitment to initiatives that promote student development, innovation, employability, and capacity building. The Union pledged full support for the programme, citing its student-centered nature and alignment with the current administration’s vision and mission.
The SUG team was led by the Chief of Staff, Comr. Abdulaziz Babangida Jibrin. He was joined by Sen. Mubarak Muhammad Yusuf, Senator representing the Faculty of Science, and Comr. Sadiq Muhammad Ababio of the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technology.
The Students’ Union Government said it remains committed to building strategic partnerships that enhance the academic, professional, and entrepreneurial development of ATBU students.
