Taraba State University Undergoes Transformation Under Professor Sunday Paul Bako's Leadership

Taraba State University has witnessed significant transformation since Professor Sunday Paul Bako took office as the fourth substantive Vice Chancellor.

His tenure has been marked by numerous accomplishments, including securing 73 full accreditations for academic programs and restoring expired professional courses such as Law, Nursing, and Medical Science.

Professor Bako's visionary approach and digital leadership have set new academic benchmarks, earning him widespread recognition at both national and international levels. The university has introduced new programs, including the Faculty of Computing AI and the Faculty of Religion and Philosophy, which will focus on Mining and Mineral Exploration and processing engineering, approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

Under Professor Bako's guidance, the university has undergone significant infrastructural and academic advancements.
