Taraba State University VC Prof. Sunday Paul Bako Pays Condolence Visit to Governor's Family

The Vice-Chancellor of Taraba State University, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, alongside his management team, attended the wake-keep and burial program of the late Atsi Kefas, sister of Taraba State Governor, Dr. Kefas A. Agbu. The event took place on Sunday, December 15, and Monday, December 16, 2024, at Wukari.

Atsi Kefas tragically passed away after sustaining a gunshot wound during an attack by gunmen on her vehicle along the Wukari-Kente road.¹ The governor's family has been plunged into mourning following the incident.

Prof. Bako's condolence visit was a show of solidarity with the governor and his family during this difficult time. The university community has been urged to pray for the soul of the late Atsi Kefas and for strength and comfort for the bereaved family.
