Taraba State University's Medical Laboratory Science Programme Receives Approval from MLS Council of Nigeria

The Faculty of Health Sciences at Taraba State University is pleased to announce that its Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) programme has received official approval from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

This approval follows a successful resource verification exercise conducted in July 2024 and enables students to sit for professional examinations and obtain necessary licensing. The programme's approval paves the way for students to graduate and proceed to their mandatory internship, launching their careers in the medical laboratory field.

The achievement is attributed to the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sunday Paul Bako and his management team, as well as the collective efforts of staff members, students, and the entire University community.
