Ten Casualties Recorded in Chinese Primary School Knife Attack
This incident is part of a troubling trend of knife attacks in China. In May 2023, a man attacked Zhenxiong People’s Hospital in Yunnan province, killing two and injuring 21.
Binye-lum 
A knife attack at a primary school in Guixi, southern Jiangxi province, has resulted in at least two deaths and 10 injuries. The incident occurred around midday on Monday, targeting pupils mostly aged six to 12.
Chinese police reported that a 45-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the attack. She allegedly used a fruit knife to carry out the stabbings.

In July 2023, another attack at a kindergarten in Guangdong province resulted in six deaths, including three children. In August 2023, a man with a mental health history killed two and injured seven in Yunnan.
Authorities are investigating the motive behind the Guixi primary school attack and have increased security measures at educational institutions in the region.
