Thomas Adewumi University Empowers Incoming Student Representative Council with Leadership Training

Thomas Adewumi University has commenced a week-long training program for its incoming Student Representative Council (SRC), themed "Leading with Purpose: Building Vision, Integrity, and Service in Student Leadership." The training aims to equip student leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Prof. Adebola Aderibigbe, a renowned Professor of Communication Studies from Federal University of Oye-Ekiti, led the first session, discussing the typology of university students, TAU's vision, mission, and core values, and the importance of effective communication, patience, and collaboration in leadership.

 Comrade Adebola Felix Agboola, the outgoing SRC President, facilitated the second session, guiding the new executives in developing a shared SRC vision, mission, and core values, emphasizing the significance of values-driven leadership.
