In a heartfelt tweet, Tunde shared, “On the day the WAEC exam fees were due, my father sold his taxi to ensure I could pay. This painful sacrifice meant he had to leave Lagos and return to the village to work in a bakery.” He reflected on his father’s determination to provide his children with the education he himself never received, taking significant steps to secure a quality education for them.
Tunde admitted to feeling like he let his parents down when he failed to secure admission to study Medicine at university. Nevertheless, his father continued to stand by him.
