UDUS Female Support Association Marks International Day of the Girl Child

The Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) chapter of the Female Support Association will observe the International Day of the Girl Child with an awareness session on October 11, 2024.

Themed "Girl Child: Vision for the Future," the program will hold at the MH2 lecture hall, UDUS permanent site, starting at 10:00 am.

Notable speakers will address insightful sub-topics:

1. Prof. Mairo Abdullahi (Faculty of Management Sciences): "Business Management: The Fulcrum for Girl-Child Resilience"

2. Prof. Asiyatu Abubakar Bagudo: "Change Makers: Empowering the Girl Child to Drive Social Change"

3. Dr. Zainab Abdullahi (UDUS Health Service Department): "Reproductive Health and STDs"

Distinguished guests include:

- Wife of the Vice-Chancellor of UDUS

- Honourable Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Prof. Sadiya Umar

- Hajiya Inno Ahmad Dogon Daji
