UDUS Lecturer Professor Misbahu Mohammed Honored with FSESN Fellowship

Professor Misbahu Mohammed, a renowned chemist from the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), has been conferred with the prestigious Fellowship of the Solar Energy Society of Nigeria (FSESN). The honor was bestowed upon him at the National Solar Energy Forum held at Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi, on December 1, 2025.

As Head of the Department of Energy and Applied Chemistry at UDUS, Professor Mohammed has made significant contributions to renewable energy development and engineering advancement in Nigeria. His research interests focus on innovative greener and sustainable processes using heterogeneous catalysis, efficient utilization of renewable energy resources, and synthesis of lubricant additives.
