UDUS Students' Union Postpones Grand Cultural Carnival

The Students' Union caretaker committee of Usmanu Dan Fodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), led by Comrade Abdullahi Sanusi, has announced the postponement of the highly anticipated Grand Cultural Carnival to Saturday, October 5, 2024, due to unforeseen circumstances.

In an official circular issued by Comrade Aminu Muhammad Ahmad, the Director of Socials for the Students' Union CTC, it was stated that the carnival, originally intended as a platform for students to showcase their diverse cultural heritage, has been rescheduled.

The statement read, "Dear students and participants, we regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, the UDUS Students' Union Grand Cultural Carnival has been rescheduled to take place on October 5, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding."

The organizing team assured students that they are working diligently to ensure a memorable event, adding, "Our team is excited to bring you an even more spectacular experience and looks forward to seeing you there."

The Students' Union also reminded all tribal groups that have not yet registered to participate in the carnival to do so by October 2, 2024, to be included in the festivities.
