Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri, recently conducted a Solemn Assembly focused on reflection, gratitude, and future aspirations. During the event, Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Mrs. Ngozi Stella Lemchi addressed the attendees, announcing that the minimum cutoff mark for the next student admission will be 140.

Prof. Lemchi also honored the late Dr. Mrs. Uchenna Nwigwe, acknowledging her contributions to the institution and extending condolences to her family. She expressed appreciation for the peaceful atmosphere at the university, attributing it to "God's grace working on Alvan."

The assembly also noted that school exams are scheduled to begin on September 17th. The event concluded with thanks extended to clergy, Deans, Heads of Departments, staff, lecturers, and students for their participation.
