UNIABUJA Receives Generous Donation from Alliance Hospital Services

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has received a significant donation from Alliance Hospital Services Limited to improve infrastructure at its College of Health Sciences.

The donation, led by the hospital’s Medical Director, Dr. Christopher Otabor, included 150 executive seats for two seminar rooms in the newly completed College of Health Sciences building. Additionally, the Alliance group funded the purchase of armoured power cables to support the electrification of a 500-capacity lecture theatre on the university’s main campus.

Dr. Otabor emphasized that the contributions were part of Alliance Hospital’s commitment to supporting medical education infrastructure in Nigeria. He also pledged the hospital’s facilities for the training of the university’s medical students.

The hospital's delegation was warmly received by members of the University of Abuja management, led by Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi, and the College of Health Sciences team, headed by Provost Professor Titus Sunday Ibekwe.
