Students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) have exposed the sexual exploitation of Professor Tony Asekhauo.

Students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) have exposed Tony Asekhauno, a married Professor of Philosophy at the prestigious university, for his immoral sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment of undergraduate students.

According to them, Professor Asekhauno has repeatedly harassed and raped female students, threatening to fail them when they do not comply.

"It was during exam period in my final year, I was walking into the faculty to get materials for my next exam, then this guy, a student, walked up to me and asked if i was Mercy Daodu. After i confirmed, he responded that Dr. Tony wanted to see me," a victimized student, Mercy Daodu shared.

"When I asked for the reason, the guy claimed that he doesn't know and that he was just asked to bring me to his office. Knowing who Dr. Tony is, i refused and assured the guy i would go see him later, and tried walking away when this guy grabbed me by my hands, and was ready to lift me," she continued.

Miss  Daodu also noted that when she got to Prof. Asekhauno's office,he showed her her unmarked examination script, emphasizing that he would only mark it if she accepted his invite.

"This man told me he wanted to see me before marking it, and that i have been avoiding him all these years and I will explain why i've been avoiding him. According to him, he has heard my name but never really encountered me because I was being too smart, trying to avoid him," she stated. traumatized by the event.
