UNILAG Confucius Institute to Host Summer School 2024

The Confucius Institute at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) will host a Summer School from July 31 to August 31, 2024, offering courses on Chinese culture, including language, arts, literature, martial arts, cuisine, philosophy, etiquette, and history.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced its upcoming Summer School scheduled to take place from July 31 to August 31, 2024. The program will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Confucius Institute Complex located within the UNILAG campus.

Participants in the Summer School will have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of subjects aimed at deepening their understanding of Chinese culture and traditions. Offerings include courses on Chinese characters, ceramics and architecture, music and dance, literature, martial arts, cuisine, philosophy and politics, etiquette, as well as religion and history.

To participate, interested individuals are required to pay a registration fee of N20,000. The four-week intensive course is open to members of the university community and the general public who wish to broaden their knowledge of Chinese arts, culture, and intellectual heritage.
