Isaac Semilore Adebiyi, a first-class law student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has made headlines after securing second place in the David Hundeyin English Language Contest. The online competition, held on July 20, 2024, earned Adebiyi a cash prize of N200,000.

The contest, organized by Nigerian education advocate Alex Onyia, saw Adebiyi excel among numerous participants. Onyia announced the results on his social media platform, highlighting Adebiyi's impressive academic standing with a CGPA of 4.67/5.0.

The competition also recognized other top performers, with Loveson Uyo-Ojo, a fifth-year medical student at Jos University Teaching Hospital, taking third place and winning N100,000.
