UNILORIN Governing Council Visits Ekiti State Governor, Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji
The University of Ilorin's Governing Council, led by Surveyor Abiodun Aluko, paid a courtesy visit to Ekiti State Governor Abiodun Oyebanji, commending the university’s leadership and its choice of Ikogosi for a strategic retreat.
The Governing Council of the University of Ilorin, led by its Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Surveyor Abiodun Jacob Aluko, FCIML, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti State.

During the visit, which took place at the Governor's Office in Ado-Ekiti, Governor Oyebanji, represented by the Head of Service, Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi, commended Surveyor Aluko for his exceptional leadership and compassion. He also lauded the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN, and other council members for their dedication to advancing the university’s mission.

The Governor praised the choice of Ikogosi, Ekiti State, as the venue for the university’s Governing Council Retreat for its 2024-2028 Strategic Plan, emphasizing the state’s commitment to fostering educational excellence.

The visit highlighted the University of Ilorin's focus on collaboration and forward-thinking leadership under Surveyor Aluko, a former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State.
