The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has urged the National Universities Commission Parastatal SERVICOM Committee (NUC/PSC) to step up its efforts in educating Nigerians about the impact of SERVICOM’s work in enhancing service delivery in the country's public institutions.
Prof. Egbewole emphasized the need for the Committee to engage in a more vigorous advocacy campaign to highlight the positive changes brought about by SERVICOM, especially in the context of improving public service standards across Nigerian universities.
He made the call during a meeting where he expressed concerns about the lack of public awareness regarding the activities and achievements of SERVICOM, which plays a critical role in improving the quality of service in public institutions.
The Vice Chancellor’s plea aligns with his continued advocacy for improved service delivery within academic institutions, which he believes will help elevate the nation’s educational standards.
