UNILORIN Wins Multiple Medals at Ibadan South West Relay Athletics Championship
The University of Ilorin secured 4 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals at the recent Ibadan South West Relay Athletics Championship held from August 29 to 31, 2024.

The University of Ilorin's athletics team achieved remarkable success at the Ibadan South West Relay Athletics Championship, held at the University Stadium, Ibadan, from August 29 to 31, 2024. The team secured a total of 4 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals.
In the competition, UNILORIN athletes excelled in several events:
- 100 meters: Gold and Silver
- 200 meters: Silver and Bronze
- 4x100 meters (Men): Gold
- 4x400 meters Mixed Relay: Gold
- 100 meters (Men): Gold
Prof. T. O. Ibraheem, Director of Sports, expressed gratitude towards the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, for his unwavering support.
