UNIMAID Establishes Faculty of Communication and Media Studies

The University of Maiduguri has approved the establishment of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies (FCMS) as part of its efforts to unbundle, restructure, and expand the scope of existing academic programs beyond mass communication.
The new faculty has seven departments, including Journalism and Media Studies, Broadcasting, Public Relations, Advertising, Development Studies, and rebranded Department of Mass Communication.
