The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Prof. Chike Princewill, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting initiatives of the Student Union Government (SUG) aimed at promoting academic excellence and the overall advancement of students in the university.

Prof. Princewill gave the assurance on Monday, August 17, 2026, when students of the university visited him as part of activities marking the commencement of the SUG Week celebration.
