UNIUYO Issues Notice to Students on Christmas Break
This is to inform the University community that the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Monday 25, 2023 and Tuesday 26, 2023 as public holidays to mark the Christmas day in commemoration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Boxing Day, respectively.

In addition, Monday, January 01, 2024 has been declared public holiday to mark the New Year.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nyaudoh U. Ndaeyo has graciously approved that the University be closed for normal business by 12noon on Friday, December 22, 2023 to Monday, January 01, 2024 to mark the celebrations. No official duty or any academic engagement should be scheduled on these days.
All staff on essential duties will, however, continue to perform their duties as scheduled. Heads of Departments concerned are expected to make alternative arrangements when it is convenient for such staff to enjoy the holidays indicated above.
Normal work will resume on Tuesday, January 02, 2024 after the holidays.
