The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) Students’ Union Government (SUG) has announced the reopening of all university hostels in preparation for the new academic session.

In an official press release issued by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Students’ Union, eligible students have been directed to resume hostel accommodation from Sunday, January 4, 2026.

According to the announcement, students are required to present their official hostel allocation slips to the Hostel Superintendents at their respective halls of residence for proper documentation before proceeding to their assigned bed spaces. The directive is aimed at ensuring proper records, orderliness, and accountability during the resumption process.

The Students’ Union emphasized that all residents must strictly adhere to the outlined procedures to guarantee a smooth, orderly, and efficient check-in across all hostels on campus.
