University of Abuja Graduates Ten from AOTS Training on Web Engineering and Machine Learning

Ten members of the University of Abuja (UofA) have successfully completed a 10-month training in Web Engineering and Machine Learning, organized by the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS) in partnership with ACCI-BEST and supported by the Japanese government.

The University of Abuja (UofA) proudly announces the graduation of ten of its staff and students from a prestigious 10-month training program on Web Engineering and Machine Learning. This program, organized by the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS) in collaboration with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Entrepreneurship Skills and Technology Centre (ACCI-BEST), was supported by the Japanese government.

The training, conducted by DIVIC Corporation, spanned from October 10, 2023, to August 30, 2024. It included participants from UofA and another Nigerian university, focusing on advanced skills in web engineering and machine learning.

During the virtual graduation ceremony, Dr. Abel U. Osagie, Director of the UofA Innovation Hub and Creative Technologies, delivered a message on behalf of the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Aisha Sani Maikudi. He encouraged the graduates to utilize the skills acquired to develop innovative solutions for emerging challenges and to continue seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.
