University of Ilorin Expels Nine Students for Examination Malpractice

According to the Unilorin Bulletin issued on Monday, the students’ expulsion was sequel to the recommendations of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee at its 219th meeting which was approved by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Wahab Egbewole.

University of Ilorin Expels Nine Students for Examination Malpractice

No fewer than nine students, including four final year students, from various faculties at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, have been expelled for allegedly engaging in examination malpractice.

According to the Unilorin Bulletin issued on Monday, the students’ expulsion was sequel to the recommendations of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee at its 219th meeting which was approved by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Wahab Egbewole.

The affected students are:

1. Lateef Lukman Olayemi, a 500 level student of the department of Agriculture/Aquaculture and Fisheries,

2. Kuranga Abdulmuiz Olalekan, 500 level student of Agriculture/Agricultural Extension and Rural Development,

3. Adebisi Janet Bosede, 100 level student of Arts/Linguistics and Nigerian Languages,

4. Ogundijo Abdulmalik Akinkunmi, 500 level CIS/Library and Information Science,

5. Ashekun Oladiji Quadri, 400 level CIS/ Telecommunication Science,

6. Eqwudah Lucky Ojonumba, 300 level Education/Adult and Primary Education Studies,

7. Musa Mohammed Asuku, 500 level Engr and Tech/Electrical and Electronic Engineering,

8. Ahmed Saddam Opeyemi, 500 level Engr and Tech/Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, and

9. Ayinla Jamiu Olaitan, a 400 level Life Science/Zoology.
