University of Ilorin to Conduct Mandatory Certificate Screening Exercise

The University of Ilorin has announced a mandatory certificate screening exercise for students in their penultimate year. The exercise will be conducted in two phases:
Final year students participating in the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) will undergo screening from September 29 to October 9, 2025, while penultimate year students will be screened from October 10 to 30, 2025. Both sessions will take place daily at 9:00 a.m.
During the exercise, students are required to present their original credentials, including admission letters, Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE)/General Certificate Examination (GCE) results, and student ID cards.
Failure to comply with the screening exercise will attract a penalty of ₦10,000 and may result in a delay in graduation. The detailed screening schedule for each faculty is available online for reference. Students are advised to prepare their documents in advance and attend the screening exercise as scheduled to avoid any penalties.
