University of Maiduguri Commences Sales of Transfer Forms for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has officially announced the commencement of sales of forms for both Inter-University and Inter-Departmental transfers for the upcoming 2025/2026 academic session.

The notice, issued by the Office of the Registrar, informs all interested staff and students that the application process is now active.

According to the memo dated December 31, 2025, prospective applicants are required to pay non-refundable fees into the university’s Remita Account available on the official portal. Upon payment, candidates must confirm their receipt at the Bursary before downloading the necessary forms from the University ICT Centre.

Non-Refundable Fee Structure

The university specified distinct fees for different categories of transfers:

Inter-University Transfer within Nigeria: ₦150,000.00

Inter-University Transfer from Abroad: ₦250,000.00

Inter-Departmental Transfer (Voluntary): ₦100,000.00

Inter-Departmental Transfer (Obligatory): ₦50,000.00
