University of Maiduguri Student Union President Appeals to Vice Chancellor Over Exam Attendance Issues

The Student Union Government (SUG) President, Hafiz Mohammed Bello, has written an urgent appeal to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, seeking consideration for students facing exam attendance issues due to administrative challenges.

The appeal highlights the plight of students who have been denied the opportunity to write their exams due to non-payment of school fees, delays in exam card issuance, and verification issues. Bello urged the Vice Chancellor to explore flexible solutions, such as extended payment plans, waivers, rescheduled exams, or alternative verification methods, to ensure affected students are not unfairly penalized.

The SUG President emphasized the critical nature of this issue, particularly for final-year students, and its potential impact on their academic progress and future prospects. He expressed confidence in the Vice Chancellor's leadership and the university's commitment to student success in finding a solution to support affected students.
