University of Maiduguri's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Laminu Mele, Receives Congratulatory Visit from Military Officials

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, Prof. Mohammed Laminu Mele, the newly appointed substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, hosted a congratulatory visit from military officials at his office.

Lt. Col. U.H Mohammed, Commanding Officer of the 73 Battalion (m) of the Northeast Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), led the delegation, accompanied by Capt. Yahaya Rilwan, Officer-in-charge of ECHO Company and UNIMAID.

The visit was a gesture of goodwill and appreciation for Prof. Mele's appointment, which was recently confirmed following the recommendation of the Joint Council and Senate Selection Board .
