UNIZIK Advancement Board Holds AI Capacity-Building Workshop for Staff and Students

Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has organised a strategic capacity-building workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) through its Advancement Board to equip staff and students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The workshop forms part of the university's efforts to prepare its academic community for the growing impact of artificial intelligence on education, research, innovation and the future of work. It also aligns with the institution's broader commitment to innovation, strategic development and global best practices in higher education.

According to the university, the programme focused on enhancing AI literacy, promoting the practical application of emerging technologies and equipping participants with relevant digital competencies required in today's technology-driven environment.

Participants were exposed to practical insights on leveraging artificial intelligence for teaching, learning, research, productivity and innovation, while discussions also explored the opportunities and challenges presented by AI across different sectors.
