UNN Hosts UNNEFAA and ACE-SPED Joint Seminar on Research, Innovation and Digital Transformation
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka has announced a joint seminar focused on advancing research, innovation, and digital transformation among young engineers, under the collaboration of the University of Nigeria Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association (UNNEFAA), the Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Power and Energy Development (ACE-SPED), and the Bio-Resources, Renewable Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Group (BREEERG).
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka has announced a joint seminar focused on advancing research, innovation, and digital transformation among young engineers, under the collaboration of the University of Nigeria Faculty of Engineering Alumni Association (UNNEFAA), the Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Power and Energy Development (ACE-SPED), and the Bio-Resources, Renewable Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Group (BREEERG).
The seminar is designed for lecturers, early-career academics, postgraduate students, final-year students, and young engineering graduates, with a focus on strengthening capacity in emerging technological fields and promoting innovation-driven engineering practice.
The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the ACE-SPED Conference Hall, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with provisions for online participation to accommodate remote attendees.

Organisers stated that the seminar will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, and collaboration between academia and industry-oriented researchers, particularly in areas shaping modern engineering solutions.
