The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced a one-week postponement of the registration exercise for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The decision was contained in an internal memo issued on Monday by the Central Registry and signed by the Principal Assistant Registrar, Mrs. Chidinma E. Ambrose-Theanacho, on behalf of the University Registrar. The memo explained that the adjustment was necessitated by the need to resolve outstanding logistical and administrative matters.

According to the circular, the directive followed instructions from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), informing all Faculty Officers that the commencement of freshmen registration has been shifted by one week.

The Registry did not indicate a new date for the exercise but stated that a revised schedule would be communicated in due course. The University also apologised for any inconvenience the postponement may cause to students and their parents.
