The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), honours notable individuals including PDP Chieftain, Ambassador Ojong Agbor, and Abuja-based businessman Chief Kester Agwu with the Distinguished Leadership Award.

In a ceremony at the UBA House of Fame, the award presentation, held in memory of Emeritus Professor JOC Ezeilo, acknowledged contributions to leadership and excellence. Ambassador Agbor, a recipient of the United Nations Peace Ambassador award, emphasized the global challenge of leadership and called for concerted efforts to address leadership questions in Nigeria. He urged key players to be steadfast and selfless in public service.
