Usmanu Danfodiyo University to Hold 2024/2025 Matriculation Ceremony

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has announced the date for its 2024/2025 academic session matriculation ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Convocation Square, starting at 9:30 AM.

A mandatory rehearsal has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 4:00 PM. All newly admitted students from UG1, UG2, and postgraduate students who have not previously graduated from the university are required to participate in the matriculation ceremony and rehearsal.

To complete the matriculation process, eligible students must fill out the Oath forms and sign the Matriculation Register at their respective Faculties. Students who have already graduated from UDUS are exempt from this process.

The university has declared the afternoon of Tuesday, April 8, 2025, as lecture-free hours and Wednesday, April 9, 2025, as a lecture-free day for all 100 and 200-level students to ensure full participation in the rehearsal and ceremony.
