In a recent statement, Muhammad Zayyanu Umar, Vice Chancellor of Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK), extended heartfelt gratitude to Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero CON for his pivotal role in the establishment of the university and the new law establishing bill. Senator Aliero, a distinguished member of the Nigerian Senate, was instrumental in sponsoring the crucial bill that aims to elevate FUBK to a level where it can compete with renowned international universities.
Reflecting on the university's journey, Vice Chancellor Umar emphasized the significant strides made since FUBK's inception in 2013. Over the past eleven years, the institution has grown into a prominent center of higher education in the region, contributing significantly to both academic and socio-economic development. "Senator Adamu Aliero's vision and unwavering commitment to education have been instrumental to our success. His support has laid the groundwork for an institution that now stands as a symbol of educational excellence and opportunity," stated Umar.
