The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has apologized for the delay in the payment of its examination supervisors.

Myschoolnews had gathered that some of the supervisors the examination body used in supervising its 2023 examinations had not been paid what is due to them.

 

The examination body in a post on social media has however come out to plead for understanding from affected persons.

The examination body wrote:

 

"We wish to express our deep sense of regret to our esteemed supervisors, who are yet to receive their pay.

Payments are ongoing, and those who are yet to get paid will receive their payments soon.

 

Once again, we apologise for the delay."

 

Hopefully, the needful is done soon and the affected supervisors get their money.
