The Independent Medical Electoral Committee (IMEC) of YOSUMSA has released the timeline for the 2024 general election.

The election is scheduled to take place on August 4, 2024, with various deadlines leading up to the event.
Key dates include:
- July 19 - August 2: Picking of expression of interest forms
- August 2: Screening and vetting of candidates
- August 3: Submission of forms with manifesto
- August 4: Election day
- August 4-8: Election dispute resolution
- August 11: Swearing-in and handover, presentation of certificates, and dinner for incoming officials
