YUMSUK Students Form Unity Forum Amid ASUU Warning Strike

In response to the two-week warning strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano Chapter, student unions and faculty associations have united to form "YUMSUK Students' Voice".

The forum, comprising the Students' Union Government (SUG), National Association of Kano State Students (NAKSS), Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN), and faculty unions (HUMSA, NASMASS, EDUSAN, NASS, BOMSA, and MSA), aims to advocate for students' welfare and interests, and work towards a resolution to the current impasse.

In a statement signed by Comr. Abbas Abubakar Muhammad, Public Relations Officer, YUMSUK Students' Voice urged students to remain focused on their studies despite the strike, and assured them of updates on any developments.
