In a remarkable achievement, 18-year-old Raven Osborne has rewritten the academic playbook by earning her Bachelor's degree in Sociology before completing high school in the United States. Osborne, a straight-A student, graduated two weeks before concluding her high school journey, leaving an indelible mark on academic excellence.

During her 7th-grade year, Raven discovered that the 21st Century Charter School covered college credits, books, and transportation costs, serving as a powerful motivator for her academic pursuits. "That was a great motivation," she shared with Teen Vogue.

As part of the school's requirements, students are encouraged to take at least one career certificate or college class, with all associated costs covered. Motivated by a concern for college debt from an early age, Osborne seized the opportunity and started taking college classes in the 9th grade.

After two years, she transferred to Purdue University's Northwest campus, where she recently received her diploma. Raven earned her Associate’s degree at the end of her 10th-grade year and continued accumulating college credits, ultimately graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

Reflecting on her journey, Raven acknowledged the support she received from her mother, Hazel Osborne, who played a crucial role in keeping her motivated. Despite the demanding workload, she still enjoyed a semblance of a typical high school experience, participating in activities like movies, baseball games, and bowling with friends.

Kevin Teasley, the CEO of GEO Foundation, commended Raven's accomplishments, stating, "She’s a ceiling-breaker, a mold-buster, an incredibly disciplined young lady. The world is her oyster now."
