Ogboji David Chukwuebuka, a second-year student in the Economics Department, met an untimely demise on the football pitch while representing his faculty in a freshmen's league tournament.

Reports indicate that Chukwuebuka collapsed during the match and despite immediate medical attention, including transportation to the clinic and subsequent referral to the hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
