84 Nile varsity graduates bag first class
Breaking down the statistics, Prof. Dogo shared that 203 students achieved second class (honours) upper division, 229 attained second class (honours) lower division, and 10 were honored with third class (honours) degrees.
Ahead of its 11th convocation in Abuja, the Nile University of Nigeria proudly announces that 84 out of the 1,251 graduating students will receive first-class degrees. Prof. Dilli Dogo, the Vice Chancellor, revealed that the institution will confer a total of 632 post-graduate degrees, including 45 Doctor of Philosophy awards.

The employability skills of the graduates have been a focal point for the institution, with a global employability rate standing at 60 percent.

Notable achievements include 43 medical graduates and the construction of three significant academic complexes, including the only STEM state-of-the-art building in Nigeria. The enrolment quota has seen a substantial increase from 50 to 100 percent, with plans to admit 195 medical students in the upcoming session.
In recognition of their outstanding contributions, two distinguished Nigerians, Dr. Mohammed Indimi, a business mogul, and Prof. Isaac Adewole, former Minister of Health, will receive honorary degrees in oil and petroleum engineering and medical sciences, respectively. The convocation lecture will be delivered by esteemed educationist Prof. Sulaiman Bogoro.
