Abia State University has suspended Dr. Udochukwu Ndukwe from the Department of Mass Communication following a disturbing online video involving him that has caused embarrassment to the institution.
The suspension, effective immediately, is for three months and will be on half salary. This decision was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, and is in line with the University's Conditions of Service.

A panel has been set up to investigate the matter, and Dr. Ndukwe is required to hand over any University property in his possession to his Head of Department. The Registrar, Dr. Acho Elendu, has issued a notice for all relevant authorities to ensure strict compliance with this directive.
