The AIG-Imoukhuede Foundation invites UNILAG staff to apply for the 2025 AIG Public Leaders Programme (AIG PLP), an executive training initiative aimed at enhancing public sector leadership in Africa

Members of staff at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have been encouraged to apply for the 2025 AIG Public Leaders Programme (AIG PLP), an executive capacity-building initiative spearheaded by the AIG-Imoukhuede Foundation.
The AIG-Imoukhuede Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to public sector reforms across Africa. Its mission includes fostering leadership capacity within the public sector, supporting reform initiatives, conducting research and advocacy, and enhancing access to quality primary healthcare.
The AIG PLP, organized in collaboration with the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government, is a prestigious programme designed to strengthen the leadership skills of African public servants. Since its inception in 2021, the programme has empowered over 237 participants from across the continent.
For its fifth cohort in 2025, the AIG PLP will select seventy (70) African public servants to participate in this transformative programme at no cost. The initiative features a blended learning format, combining five weeks of online sessions with two in-person engagements in Nigeria. Participants will acquire leadership skills, conceptual frameworks, and practical tools to enhance their effectiveness in managing public institutions.
UNILAG staff members interested in advancing their leadership capabilities and contributing to public sector development are encouraged to apply. Full details regarding eligibility, the application process, and programme structure can be found at: AIG Public Leaders Programme.
Applications for the 2025 AIG PLP will close on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Due to the programme’s highly competitive nature, early applications are advised.
