Prince Abubakar Audu University Announces Dates for 2026 Matriculation and 7th Combined Convocation

The administration of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) has officially released the schedule for two major institutional events: the 2026 Matriculation Ceremony and the 7th Combined Convocation. 

Following recent announcements, the university’s media unit provided clarification for students and the general public regarding the distinct nature of both ceremonies scheduled for January 2026.

The university will formally welcome its newest intake during the Matriculation Ceremony on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Reflecting its commitment to honoring academic excellence across multiple graduating sets, PAAU will host a four-day combined convocation from January 21 to January 24, 2026.

Target Audience: Graduates from the merged sets who have successfully completed their degree requirements.

Structure: As a "combined" event, this ceremony merges multiple graduating classes into a single series of academic processions and award ceremonies.

Global Standard: The management noted that the event aligns with international academic traditions, celebrating the transition of students into alumni. 

The university management encourages all 100-level students and graduating sets to complete their respective clearances and preparations ahead of these landmark events.
