ABU Architecture Department Raises N8 Million at e-Studio Launch

The Department of Architecture at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has successfully raised a total of N8 million at the launch of its e-Studio.

The funds will be used to equip the e-Studio with modern materials and technology, enhancing the learning experience for architecture students.

The launch, which took place on February 27, 2025, at the Yusufu Bala Usman Hall, ABU Main Campus, Samaru, was attended by prominent architects and professionals in the field.

Arc. Arabi Bello, the Chief Launcher, donated N2.6 million on behalf of himself, his firm, and friends. Additional donations totaling over N5 million were made by fellows of the Nigerian Institute of Architecture (NIA) and students of architecture.

The e-Studio is designed to serve as a cutting-edge tool in architectural practice and education, leveraging technological advancements to provide students with hands-on experience and skills.
