Nigerian Library Association Honors KHAIRUN Vice-Chancellor for Contributions to Modern Library Services

The Nigerian Library Association (NLA), Kano State Chapter, has conferred an honorary membership on the Vice-Chancellor of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the advancement of modern libraries and the integration of technology into library services.
The honor was bestowed on Prof. Garba during a ceremony held on February 28, 2025. Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the association’s Kano chapter and KHAIRUN’s librarian, Mal.
