ABU Graduate Commends University Leadership After Vice-Chancellor Personally Presents Urgent Degree Certificate
A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Ahmed Isah Mohammed, has commended the university administration for its responsiveness and student friendly disposition.
Ahmed, a 2024 graduate of Library and Information Science with a Second Class Upper Division (2.1), praised the university leadership for
prompt response to his certificate request.
This was after he had applied for the academic document to complete registration for a Master's programme when he gained admission for postgraduate studies.

In an effort to quickly get the certificate, he sent a formal email to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Ahmed Adamu, on 10th May, 2026, explaining his situation and the urgency for the document.
Within a short period, the graduate received a response that his certificate was ready for collection, a development he described as encouraging and reassuring.
In fact, what made the experience even more memorable was that on visiting the Senate Building on 14th May, 2026, to collect the certificate, he was warmly received in the Vice-Chancellor's office where he was presented with the certificate by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Ahmed Adamu, himself.
During the interaction, the Vice-Chancellor encouraged the young graduate to remain focused on his academic pursuits and strive for excellence in his Master’s programme.
Prof Ahmed even advised him to consider returning to the university to pursue an academic career after his postgraduate studies because of his seeming passion for lecturing and intellectual development.
This reflects the commitment of the university administration to efficient service delivery, accessibility, and responsive engagement with students and alumni.
