 Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) Law Faculty Becomes The First In North-Western Nigeria to Establish An ADR Society.

On the 31st day of March 2023, the founders of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society — Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria received the Approval of Registration from the university management through the office of the Dean, Student Affairs Division, ABU Zaria. Alternative Dispute Resolution Society— Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ADR Society, ABU Zaria) was established on 23rd February 2023, to groom and empower student ADR enthusiasts within Ahmadu Bello University and beyond, with the requisite knowledge, skill set and experience necessary in becoming professional ADR practitioners. Fundamentally, the society aims at creating awareness among students and the general public on ADR as a viable and complimentary option to litigation and encourage them to employ ADR in the resolution of disputes.
