ABU Zaria Celebrates 62nd Anniversary

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has marked its 62nd anniversary, highlighting its remarkable transformation since its inception on October 4, 1962.

Established as the University of Northern Nigeria, ABU was later renamed in honor of Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello, the first premier of Northern Nigeria.

From humble beginnings with four faculties, 15 departments, and 426 students, ABU has grown to become a premier institution, boasting:
