ABUAD Law graduate Faith Ogueji has been crowned Miss NYSC for 2022

Faith Ogueji of platoon 9 with State Code 1259, from Abia State, a graduate of Law from Afe Babalola University has been crowned Miss NYSC for the 2022 Batch C Stream II Orientation Course while Osuji Chukwuebuka of platoon 2 with State Code 1852 from Imo State, a graduate of Political Science from the University of Nigeria emerged as Mr Macho. 

There was a palpable sense of expectation in the atmosphere on Thursday in the Multipurpose Hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ede, Osun State. Very significant and admirable dignitaries were present for the event, which was sponsored by Hon. Akinyande Abidenu Oyewusi who was ably represented by Engr. Akintoye Akinmade.

The pageant was held in three stages. The participants from both pageants came together on stage as a couple to dance and impress the crowd during the intro, The first appearance was the first appearance which consisted of the individual presentation of platoon representatives. The second appearance, which saw the contestants  demonstrate their parade abilities was the evening's main attraction. The final stage was the test for the confidence, physical prowess and intellect of all the platoon representatives.

Platoons 2, 1 and 6 came first, second, and third in the Mr Macho keenly contested competition, while Platoons 9, 1 and 6 emerged first, second, and third in the Miss NYSC competition.

The winners received excellent prizes from the Sponsors.
