Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University to Hold SIWES Orientation for Students

The Industrial Training and Coordinating Unit (ITCU) at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, will hold a SIWES orientation exercise for students undergoing the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).

Scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the 1000 Seat Lecture Theatre.

Attendance is mandatory for students from the Faculties of Engineering and Environmental Technology who are participating in the SIWES program. The orientation aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their industrial placements.

The orientation will feature paper presentations by relevant stakeholders, including the Bauchi State ITF Area Manager. The ITCU emphasizes that it will not accept letters of acceptance from placement organizations for any student who fails to attend the orientation.
